Things to see in the Pieniny Mountains include: the Pieniny National Park (including famous scenic points on the top of Trzy Korony and Sokolica), rafting on the Dunajec River. Other places to visit are the historic town of Krościenko nad Dunajcem and the spa town of Szczawnica.
In the area of Pieniny Mountains you can find medieval castles like the ones in Czorsztyn and Niedzica, historical wooden gothic churches and gothic stone church.
The most popular place to see in Lesser Pieniny is the Homole Gorge.
The Pieniny Mountains are an ideal place to rest and as a starting point for trips to the neighbouring mountain ranges, also in Slovakia. Krościenko nad Dunajcem is a great starting point for tourist trails leading towards Gorce, Beskid Sądecki and Pieniny Mountains.
